|Mountain's Edge Farm has offered a variety of services to the public over the years. This year we are adding exciting new farm camps for kids. Adding this to the farm will allow children to be able to enjoy the farm life which we take for granted every day.
Back at the barn we will learn about each different animal we raise on the farm and the importance of caring for them. This will include everything from herd health to just being able to handle and play with the young. Our farm consists of beef cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and rabbits.
We will be offering many week long camps and Saturday only camps. Please find the list below of camp dates for 2016. Camp is available for children ages 5-13 years old but older kids are welcome to join us.

Please contact us if you have trouble affording this. Mountain’s Edge Farm would hate to deny any child the farm camp experience because of financial difficulty.
Farm safety is very important to us and we will have several rules that we expect each child to follow. Farms are a great place to have fun and learn a lot so we look forward to seeing everyone soon.
About the farmers, first there is Jennifer Lang who grew up on a family dairy farm in Maine. The dairy cows were sold and the concentration turned to beef cows and draft horses. Jennifer attended Vermont Technical College earning her Veterinary Technician degree. At Vermont Technical College, Jennifer met her husband Sean. Sean was majoring in Dairy Farm Management and grew up on a dairy farm in Essex Junction, Vermont. These degrees have come in very handy on the farm. After graduation came marriage and the start of our own family farm. We initially raised dairy heifers for local farmers and then transitioned to raising our own all natural local meats. Jennifer & Sean have 3 children who help out daily on the farm. Jeremy(17) has his own sheep and concentrates on the crops alongside his dad. Kyle(14) is our expert poultry guy and loves the gardening. Emily(12) is the horse lover and helps out in that area. She rides and shows her saddle horses in the summer and is active in 4-H. As a family we breed and raise belgian drafts, having many young ones arriving on the farm each spring. We take these gentle giants and show throughout the northeast. We are members of the Belgian Draft Horse Association.
